The Clarens Brewery is the star of the show. From humble beginnings on Ash Creek Farms, Natalie and Stephen have a menu of brews that really speak for themselves. Red Stone Cider, Cherry Cider, Clarens Blonde, Clarens Red, Clarens Stout and English Ale. Baruchs Coffee Roastery is also at the Willows lifestyle centre, this is where The Millery's coffee for the cafe is roasted. Sometimes you can buy coffee that is so fresh it's still warm from being roasted.
Bossie Knives - Custom made knives. Fritz and Yolandi can handcraft a knife that is uniquely yours. Tailor made to your specifications. You can choose the wood, the blade even the steel. They are a little hard to find, tucked away behind the Engen Petrol Station, but worth finding if you appreciate fine craftsmanship and dedication to the art of knife making. Clarens is an artist's haven, but art is not limited to a painting or sculpture. Some lesser-known industries in Clarens produce creations with fine craftsmanship. It is worth taking the time whilst visiting Clarens to seek out the local products to take back home with you. There is a road immediately to your left as you enter Clarens. The Millery Bakery has a wide variety of fresh, country-baked favourites and a great cup of coffee too. Coffee roastery on the premises. Bossie handmade knives is very close by.

Clarens Brewery brews fine hand crafted beers and ciders on a farm near Clarens and is the only micro brewery in the Free State. On tap through out the day!
All their beers are full grain pure malt beers, they contain no preservatives or extracts and have not been pasteurized.

Clarens Stout is a dark, sweet and full bodied ale with subtle chocolate aromas and a creamy head.
Clarens English Ale is a medium bodied ale, with caramel malt flavour, a hint of nuttiness and medium hop bitterness with a dry refreshing finish.
Clarens Blonde is a light golden ale, light in alcohol, with a sweet malty aroma and the distinct biscuity flavour of malt followed by a light hop flavour.
